KYMCO are proud to announce that the IONEX i-One, KYMCO’s first Electric Scooter for the UK market, will arrive this summer. This fantastic EV scooter comes in 4 striking colours; comet white, vivid red, rose gold pink and deep metallic grey! Bringing the i-One to the UK is KYMCO’s next step in shifting business to focus on the electric market, as well as supporting future movements in green technology for the industry and the United Kingdom and playing their part in tackling the global climate change crisis. With an IONEX i-One, you help take the next step in changing the world for the better, and with global increases in fuel prices, petrol manufacturing and more low emission zones in urban areas coming into effect, there has never been a better time to go electric.

The Product:

IONEX i-One is a 50cc equivalent electric scooter that packs a punch whilst out and about. After a large run of tests with the scooter, in both winter and spring climates, we can safely guarantee a range of 60km whilst at a consistent speed of 30km/h. I-One is also powered by a Lithium Battery with a motor power of 4,200W and has a maximum speed of 45 km/h. I-One is available with either 1 or 2 IONEX batteries included, allowing you to double up on your range capabilities! The IONEX battery has an 8-hour charge time and can be charged at home or out and about, with a fast charger coming to the UK later this year.

The Technology:

IONEX i-One has an impressive level of technology that comes as standard with the scooter. This technology includes bright and vibrant LED lights, a futuristic LED dashboard display and a smart predictive range system, allowing you to be precise with your journeys and energy consumption. I-One also includes under seat storage, with enough room to store an IONEX battery or your personal belongings, like riding and work equipment.

The Audience:

IONEX i-One is an EV scooter mainly aimed at the urban commuters and fleet delivery riders. I-One supports these riders by providing flexibility, reliability, and accessibility to their needs, such as storage and charge points for their mobile and USB connected devices, 3 hooks for bags and equipment, the capability to add a mount for satnavs, and under seat storage capable of storing multiple delivery orders. The i-One’s comfortable suspension also helps to put the riders mind at ease knowing the quality of their storage will remain high!
